OUTWOODS PRIMARY SCHOOL is a member of the Central Cooperative Learning Trust which consists of five Primary schools, one Infant school and one Junior school in our MAT, five of the schools are based in East Staffordshire close to the border with Derbyshire with the sixth in Rugeley.

Mission Statement

At Outwoods Primary School we are working together as a community to provide a secure, inclusive and stimulating environment, promoting creativity, enjoyment and personal success.

Our Vision, Ethos and Values

We work together as a community to provide a happy, secure and stimulating environment where children are motivated to learn and are encouraged to reach their full potential. We prepare our children for life within a diverse and changing world with ‘all that it means to be British’ at the centre of our ethos.

Ours is a school with an ethos and purpose which values every-one as an individual, which strives to nurture and develop each pupil where difference is seen as an enrichment of life and where thinking is challenged positively.

When our children leave, they will know how to learn, will be ambitious for themselves, have high self-esteem, thrive on challenge, empathise with the needs of others, have discovered new talents and developed a love for life-long learning.

The Candidate

We are looking to appoint a temporary Reception Teacher to join our team from January 2021 for two terms to cover maternity leave. If you are a teacher looking for a fun opportunity at an exceptionally well-resourced and supported school then you need to see our school.

The ideal candidate will be committed to working as part of a team. They must support the aspirational ethos of the school and be dedicated to ensuring the overall wellbeing of all children. If you are someone who could engage and inspire our students whilst demonstrating a relentless drive to raise standards of attainment then this would be the ideal role for you.

We will offer you a welcoming and friendly staff team who want to do the best for our children. Our school is passionate about the development of a broad and rich curriculum for all. We have a commitment to improve standards and achievement for all children with fabulous opportunities to co-plan lessons with your year group team.
