The Role

The Arthur Terry Learning Partnership is a highly successful Multi Academy Trust (MAT) encompassing 5 secondary schools, 9 primary schools, soon to be 10, Teaching School, and SCITT. Our schools are based in North Birmingham, Tamworth, Lichfield and North Warwickshire. Our academies are quite distinctive and separate schools, serving different communities and phases but all either are, or have the capacity to become, outstanding.

We have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Science Technician.

Grade D Points 3-4 £18,065 - £18,426
(Actual salary £15,746.20 - £16,060.87)

37 hours per week, Monday – Friday 8.00 am to 4.00 pm (3.30pm on Fridays) term time including 5 Inset days
Required as soon as possible.


Key Requirements

You will need to work on your own initiative, have good organisational skills, work well under pressure and be able to support students and staff with their work. Experience/relevant qualifications as a Science Technician is desirable, however we are willing to consider someone who is enthusiastic to learn as full training will be given.

The successful candidate will:

•Be responsible for setting out apparatus, cleaning, repairing and maintaining equipment.
•Be a key member of the Science faculty.
•Support teachers during Science practical lessons.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent is an essential requirement of the role.
