The Role


2 days / 14.0 Hours per Week, Term Time Only

Claverdon Primary School is a popular, friendly village school of 200 pupils. We require a part-time Finance Assistant for 2 days per week to provide support, primarily with financial systems and processes but also with general administrative and other tasks. You will work independently in a busy school office, under the direction of the School Business Manager, to support a variety of school activities, interfacing with pupils, staff and parents in an efficient and professional manner.

General duties are in line with the attached WCC job description. The role is responsible for the processing, recording and reporting of all school financial transactions including orders, invoices, banking and budget monitoring activities.


Key Requirements

 

Financial qualifications and knowledge are essential, including the use of appropriate financial management systems. Experience in a school office environment and proficiency in SIMS FMS system are beneficial.

You should be an enthusiastic and reliable team player, capable of working with minimal supervision to meet deadlines and happy to be flexible as the role demands.
