Job Details
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisor to join our friendly dedicated team. You will be responsible for supervising a class of 30 pupils or alternatively be required to support SEN pupils with a range of complex needs, including ASD and physical/medical. These children may have some complex communication issues too therefore any appointed staff will receive guidance regarding how to work effectively.
We welcome dedicated personnel who will support the caring ethos of our school.
Main responsibilities include:
- Supervision of hand washing before and after meals
- Escorting pupils to and from the dinner hall, community room or play area
- Assisting them with table manners, use of cutlery, cutting of meat etc
- Supervision of pupils before and after the meal and playground duty
- Organising games and activities
- Ensuring the pupil’s safety is maintained
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment. The successful candidate will need to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
