H.L.T.A. - Full-Time 32.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Monday & Tues 8.45 to 4.15 pm – Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 8.45 to 3.25 pm to start as soon as possible.

An exciting opportunity for an outstanding H.L.T.A. to join the team at Hednesford Valley High.

We require a creative and talented H.L.T.A. who:-

  • Can teach across the school but mainly Sensory and Study groups will lower levels of learning.
  • Is able to deliver a range of subjects across the curriculum as required by the timetable.
  • A team player who is able to work collaboratively with others on whole school projects.
  • To work with a range of different students with SEN across the school.
  • Can use ICT to support and enhance teaching and learning.
  • Has a passionate commitment to raising the attainment of all students in a special school.
  • A team player who is able to work collaboratively with others.
  • You will be a form tutor.
  • Someone who is flexible and willing to meet the needs of the school.
  • Must be willing to work on different sites.
  • Proactive, resourceful and energetic.
  • An organised and highly effective classroom practitioner
  • Must meet HLTA standards or equivalent qualification and experience.
  • Must have GCSE Grade C or equivalent qualification in English and Maths.
  • NVQ Level 4 for Teaching Assistant or recognized equivalent qualification.
