Salary: £32,234- £ £36,922 per annum (pro rata)
37 Hours per week – 12 month External/Internal Secondment until 30th November 2021, with potential to extend dependent on business requirements

Do you want to be at the heart of driving forward Staffordshire County Council’s priorities, and improving outcomes for the people of Staffordshire? Are you analytical, inquisitive, and able to write and communicate compellingly?
If so, we have an exciting opportunity to join the Policy and Insight Team on a 12 month secondment as a Strategic Policy Officer. You will have the opportunity to influence and shape the strategic direction and decision-making, across the County Council. You will be working in a fast paced, ambitious team, working to support Cabinet and the Senior Leadership Team to explore opportunities, and positively respond to the challenges facing local public services.
We are seeking a dynamic, flexible professional, who is passionate about public services, with great analytical and communication skills. We would welcome hearing from recent graduates as well as colleagues with indirect experience.
