Sandwell Children’s Trust are recruiting for a Change Project Officer in our Strategy & Transformation Department. We are looking for exceptional candidates who are passionate, committed and dedicated to improving the lives of children & young people.

  • It has a robust performance framework which can provide it with accurate information about the quality of practice and the improvements to practice and outcomes for children still required.

  • Progress has been made in ensuring that the first response to families and children in need is timely and, in most cases, recognises risk and the scale of intervention required.

    An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, highly motivated and enthusiastic person to join the Quality and Performance Directorate within Sandwell Children’s Trust to contribute to improving outcomes for children and families within Sandwell.  If you are an experienced administrator with very strong organisational skills and are passionate about improving the lives of children and families then we want to hear from you.

    The role is both varied and interesting providing the opportunity to work alongside colleagues in the Ofsted Preparation Project office, and the Trust’s senior leadership team.  You will need to be able to engage will all services across Sandwell Children’s Trust to understand and evaluate service delivery to ensure we are efficiently using our resources in delivering effective services to Sandwell children and families.

    You should have experience of good organisational skills, an understanding of performance management and performance measures and the ability to translate this into improvement with an aptitude to learn.  You need to be adept at building relationships at all levels and have excellent IT skills to utilise a range of packages including Microsoft Excel.

    You will need an NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification or be able to evidence an appropriate level of experience, as the post holder will need to be able to ‘hit the ground running’.  The role may be of interest to candidates who have a performance management or business improvement background.

    This is a 6 month fixed term contract
