Full-Time: 35 Hours
Location: Worcester

Situated in the south-west Midlands, Worcestershire is a place of rolling hills and beautiful countryside with a range of towns with both industrial and rural heritage, and at its heart the medieval city of Worcester with its iconic cathedral and riverside setting. Yet this stunning place is only an hour by train from the bustle of England’s second city and all of the attractions of Birmingham.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and positive individual, with a strong customer-focus, to plan and lead the development of a comprehensive, innovative and integrated library and cultural service offer across Worcestershire libraries, including The Hive.

The successful post holder will build relationships with internal and external partners with a view to co-developing services that meet the shared strategic priorities of the County Council and University of Worcester, and take a lead on partner-based funding bids to support the development of an extensive, varied and sustainable library service offer for Worcestershire residents and students. They will also ensure that The Hive is a centre for service development and innovation across Worcestershire, showcasing the benefits of the unique partnership between the Council and University.

If you have substantial experience of working in partnership to deliver innovative services and successful outcomes, of leading & managing multi-disciplinary teams, of influencing and managing change and building positive service reputation we would love to hear from you.
