EXCITING OPPORTUNITY WITHIN A WELL ESTABLISHED CHILDCARE PROVISION IN AN ‘OUTSTANDING’ SCHOOL SETTING

At Cranmore we believe that good teamwork is essential. Everyone is valued and respected and our children are at the heart of everything we do.

An exciting new opportunity at our childcare provision has arisen as we look to recruit an enthusiastic Before and After School Club Team Leader. This well-established provision has continued to provide excellent care to children aged from 3 years – 7 years for over 15 years.

We are particularly interested in a highly organised individual with lots of ideas and initiative who could work with the Childcare Manager to enhance the existing provision. You will also be responsible in leading and managing the ‘Kids’ Club’ play workers.

The hours required are 7.30 – 9am and 3pm- 6.00pm, Monday to Friday as well as additional planning time. There is also the opportunity of extra hours during school holidays and the role would require some flexibility to also provide some additional childcare provision at our holiday club.

You will need to have an NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Childcare.

In addition, a good knowledge of EYFS and experience working with children aged 3 - 7 years would be an advantage. Team leader/ manager role experience in any setting would also be an advantage.

The full job description and person specification is as attached.

We hope that you will consider applying for this excellent opportunity. Although we are unable to offer visits to the setting at the moment, enquiries are warmly welcomed.

Please contact Katie Whitehouse (Childcare Manager) by telephone on 0121 705 3443 or email her at littleacorns@cranmore.solihull.sch.uk

Cranmore School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Any appointment will be subject to a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check and satisfactory references will be a requirement for the successful candidate.

Only successful applicants will be contacted after the closing date.
