Salary: - Band D Point 17 £24,491 

Working Pattern: - Full time all year round. 

Split working pattern during term time 715am-11am and 230pm-615pm. 

Benefits: - Bank holidays plus 24 days annual leave increasing after 5 years of continuous service within the local authority. 

Annual Leave to be taken during school holidays. - Local government pension scheme.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, skilled and self-motivated Site Manager to join our team of friendly, experienced staff who will take pride in the appearance of our school’s environment. You will share responsibility for the security, safety, general maintenance and cleanliness of our school and grounds to ensure it is a healthy, safe and welcoming environment.

You will be able to undertake general repairs and maintenance around the site as well as working with the School Business Manager to initiate and work with contractors on larger repairs and improvements.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing the best service possible to our community. You will need to be self-motivated and able to manage your own time but also take direction and work collaboratively with all members of the school team. You will often be faced with several requests so an ability to prioritise and communicate effectively is essential.

Experience of working in a trade or a similar caretaking role is beneficial but not essential.

You will:

 be looking for a new challenge to manage our site  be ready for responsibility including security and health and safety

 have good organisational skills and be proactive around the site  be hardworking and flexible to the needs of the children and the school

 have good DIY skills such as, for general repairs, maintenance and decorating

 take pride in our school and be a proactive member of our community including being involved in special events

 display good inter-personal skills with families, colleagues, governors, contractors and visitors
