From January 2021, the Acting Headteacher and Trustees of Greenways Primary Academy are seeking to permanently appoint an inspirational teacher and ambitious school leader to the post of Assistant Headteacher.

Your opportunity: We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Assistant Headteacher to join our passionate and dedicated senior leadership team. As Assistant Headteacher you will help to bring new ideas to enhance our curriculum offer, promote excellence and equality and the highest expectations for our children and staff. You will bring strong ambition, drive and endeavour to achieve excellent outcomes for our pupils by being an outstanding classroom practitioner. You will be able to work with our senior leadership team to inspire and motivate our talented staff team and ensure the academy values are upheld through your daily practice.

The successful candidate will, alongside the Executive Headteacher and Head of Academy, proactively lead on any of the following areas: Curriculum, Teaching, Learning and Assessment, Behaviour and Attitudes for learning, Child Protection and Safeguarding according to the needs of the academy. We’d love to hear about your strengths and specialisms.

The post will involve a full time class responsibility with regular dedicated leadership time.
