If you like getting your teeth into complicated things, how about becoming a Pension Administrator within the Benefits and Payroll Team at Worcestershire Pension Fund?
The Worcestershire Pension Fund administers the Local Government Pension Scheme on behalf of approximately 200 employers and 62,000 members. Developing LGPS experience and expertise could be your ticket to a wealth of opportunities: the LGPS is one of the largest pension schemes in the world and its 87 separate, geographically organised LGPS funds across England & Wales manage pensions for 15,700 employers and 5.9m members, with assets under management of £291bn.
We are looking for someone who is highly organised and able to prioritise workloads, has excellent mathematical skills, and enjoys working in a busy team and meeting challenging deadlines.
You will be responsible for a varied workload, providing information to employees, updating the pensions administration system, liaising with scheme employers, calculating benefits, and updating the pensions payroll. You will also assist with project work.
We are offering a £19,006 to £20,572 full time (35 hours per week on a flexible-working basis), two year fixed term contract that would be based at County Hall if we were not currently wholly homebased. The role offers you membership of the LGPS.
For an informal discussion please contact Suzie Hawkes, Pensions Manager (Benefits & Payroll) on 01905 843647.
