Full-Time Grade 3 Teaching Assistant (Numeracy)

37 hours per week - Salary Scale Point 7-17  (£17,184 - £20,947) Term time only + TED)

We are seeking a Teaching Assistant who is enthusiastic and motivated to support our learners across Key Stages 3 & 4 and who will complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities.  The school is committed to the professional development and well-being of its staff, and full professional support is assured.   The successful applicant will have responsibility to support the development of numeracy and to plan and deliver additional numeracy sessions.  Applicants must have a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (or equivalent) qualification and GCSE grade C (or equivalent) in Maths & English. They should also have experience of supporting learners with the acquisition of numeracy skills.

The working hours 8.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Thursday, 8.00am – 3.30pm Friday.  A 30 minute lunch break is included each day.
