Teacher of Science - Full Time Permanent

Pursuing our challenge to create a “world class working environment”

Codsall High School is a vibrant, exciting and dynamic learning environment which embodies the value we place on working with our students to achieve the very best outcomes for each and every one.

We are very proud of our focus on staff and student wellbeing; driven in our aims and ambitions to build on our success in a supportive and friendly environment.

The health and wellbeing of our staff is a priority; with an open-door senior leadership policy, a comprehensive new staff / NQT support programme, celebration of staff who go the extra mile and in-house pathways programmes for aspiring future leaders.

We are a high achieving school, providing education to students from years 9 to 13, with our results placing us amongst the highest performing state schools in the country. Through our committed staff, dedicated Governors and supportive parents, we continue to flourish.

We are looking for an inspirational Science Teacher to join our school in September 2021.

The ability to teach GCSE Science in the main school and/or BTEC National in Applied Science (2016) in the sixth form would be an advantage.

The post would suit a trainee teacher looking for their first post who has the potential to develop into an outstanding practicioner.

Application forms and further details for the above post are available to download from www.cc-hs.com/jobs.

To arrange an informal discussion about the post please contact Mrs H Zatte, the Executive Headteacher’s PA, at the email address show above. Completed application forms with a letter of application should also be sent to Mrs H Zatte.

Closing date for receipt of applications is Monday 19th October at 9am. Interviews are scheduled for Wednesday 21st October.

"This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment". This position is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Further details regarding this check are available from schools or by visiting www.crb.gov.uk
