Salary: £20,984 - £23,167

This Business Support Officer role involves providing a range of business support activities to enable the service to meet its statutory obligations and provide timely and effective services to children, young people, their families and carers.
It is essential that the post holder has significant experience of working in children’s social care or similar environment, considerable experience working in a role responsible for co-ordinating activities and that they are able to demonstrable computing experience, especially in the use of software packages of MS Office including the use of spreadsheets and databases.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of issues relevant to children’s safeguarding and the ability to apply this knowledge. They will have an ability to extract, present and convey accurate information and to disseminate such information where required. A polite, efficient manner particularly when working under pressure and in circumstances where interruption may be common place, is essential.
This post is based in the Safeguarding and Quality Assurance Service within the Advanced Social Work Practitioners Team, but work will extend across the SQA service.
