Salary:  £19,171- £20,334 per annum

37 Hours per week- Permanent

This is an opportunity to join an experienced and developing Education Inclusion Team

This position is for an individual with experience and knowledge of the education system.  The successful candidate will be appointed to the targeted education team, a team which specialises in working with parents in respect of Exclusions from school.

We are seeking an individual who has NVQ 3 in Business Administration or equivalent. You will report to the Head of targeted services and will support the team in processing information from school’s relating to the issuing of exclusions. You will be responsible for timely and accurate processing of information, whilst dealing with any enquiries.

It is essential that you have experience of working with schools, data entry and managing telephone enquiries. 

This post forms part of the targeted services team, if you have the skills, knowledge and experience to work in a busy team and a commitment to supporting children and young people to achieve their full potential, then this is an opportunity for you to join a service with a clear focus on achieving positive outcomes for children and young people.  

Education Inclusion Team provides the following services:

  • Ensuring parents are advised about the exclusion Process
  • A statutory function of the local authority in addressing Exclusions and promoting inclusion
  • Information, advice and guidance to schools and governors
