We are seeking to appoint an ICT Support Officer to support our ICT Operations Manager with the maintenance of the network system and co-ordination of the efficient operation of all computers and associated equipment to maximise network performance.

To accurately record, update and document requests for ICT Support using the IT service desk system. Detect, diagnose and resolve PC, printer, peripheral and software errors. Perform routine checks on PCs and ICT suites, ensuring maintenance and general housekeeping tasks are completed regularly. Provide support and assistance in the setup and operation of audio/visual/multimedia equipment. To setup the school hall for assemblies and meetings. To setup and maintain user accounts. Install and configure CCTV Cameras around the site. Assist the ICT Network Manager in maintaining a database of computer hardware. Produce and maintain documentation and training materials for the school knowledgebase. Maintain and configure iPads. Provide training to staff on new systems and processes.

Maintain the school website and ensure information is accurate and up to date. Maintain telephony systems and printer management. Maintain and manage the distribution of student and staff laptops. Ensure users are able to access resources when working from home as part of remote learning. These include but are not limited to use of VPN to

access network drives and SIMS.

The successful candidate will:

• Have experience of providing ICT support with the ability to oversee the network and servers.

• Experience of implementing IT system changes effectively;

• Suitable IT qualifications;

• Have experience of using a wide range of ICT equipment and programmes.

• You will support teaching staff in the development and education of students including the provision of specialist skills as appropriate.

• Be a hard worker who has a commitment to getting the best for the organisation.

• Have excellent customer service skills with a willingness to support to colleagues.

• Be flexible in their approach to work, in order to meet the demands of the School.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
