28 hours a week term time only

Required for November 2020 (or as soon as possible)

The Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and experienced practitioner with a background of supporting children in schools to raise attainment through supportive challenge and mentoring.

Job Requirements:

  • A shared belief that every child can and should reach their full potential
  • A highly motivated and enthusiastic person who can draw from previous experience of raising attainment and improving behaviours to allow children to achieve
  • The role is key to supporting teaching and learning alongside all staff in an inspiring learning environment that promotes rapid progress for all
  • To work closely and liaise with the Pastoral team, parents, outside agencies and SLT, providing and driving holistic interventions and strategies to encourage the highest level of positive behaviours an expectations
  • Experience of delivering interventions and analysing impact
  • To monitor and analyse children’s behaviours in school
  • The enthusiasm to work with children and support the teachers to help children flourish.
  • Able to engage well with pupils and staff
  • Able to work under your own initiative
  • A good level of Standard English
  • Be supportive of our Christian ethos of going above and beyond to nurture and care for our children

What we are looking for:

  • A level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Experience of working with children in schools
  • A good level of maths and English- GCSE C or equivalent.
  • Excellent IT skills
  • An excellent communicator
  • A sense of humour
  • A Team Player
