Group Manager – Planning Ref: EE41720
Salary G13 £49,612 - £54,419 per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Group Manager to assist in the development of plans, policies and procedures suitable to deliver an excellent Development Management service; the successful candidate will manage the development management, planning enforcement, technical support, protected tree service, Local Land Charges and the Local Land and Property Gazetteer teams within the Planning and Building Control Service.
Alongside these functions there will be an expectation to assist the Head of Service in the delivery of an efficient, consistent and customer focused service including the management of the relevant Council delegations to the Head of Service on his behalf.
This post is covered by the Government’s Code of Practice on the English Language Fluency Duty for public sector workers. The post holder will be required to communicate verbally with customers and provide advice and/or information in accurate spoken English.
