This is a combined fixed term post of an
EYFS Teaching Assistant and Playworker role
Fixed Term Early Years (Nursery) Level 2 Teaching Assistant
TTO Grade 4
Grade: Level 4 scp 6-11 (Actual Salary £4,596-£5,293)
The hours of work for the Teaching Assistant role will be 16.25 hours a week
to be worked each day between 8.15 until 11:30, term time.
Fixed Term Lunchtime Playworker
TTO Grade 3
Grade 3 Scp 4-6 (Actual Salary £1,358- £1,414)
Incremental progression subject to performance
The Lunchtime Playworker role is 5 hours a week
to be worked each day 11:30-12:30.
Due to the growing number of children starting in January 2021 we are looking to appoint an Early Years Nursery Teaching Assistant with an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent to work as part of our dedicated and hardworking Nursery Team within our EYFS. This is a fixed term post to address the rise in numbers in Nursery. They will have a keyworker role with responsibility for a group of children as well as supporting the teaching, learning and development of all the children in our 78 place nursery.
What are we looking for?
A committed, creative and enthusiastic individual with experience of working and supporting nursery aged children. A literate and numerate person with good interpersonal skills, who is willing to work hard and contribute to the Nursery teaching team. Some knowledge of ‘Planning in the moment’ and the ability to supporting children with speech and language issues would be advantageous or a willingness to train in these areas. The individual appointed will need to be a flexible team member, who enjoys working creatively outdoors as well as indoors!
