Salary Range: Level 2 / Level 3 TA dependant on experience FTE £17798 - £20043
Contract type: Fixed term initially – up to 27.5 hours but part-time considered – Term Time Only
Contract term: November 20-July 21 (initially)
Due to increased need for small group intervention and 1:1 support upon our return to full opening as part of the Government’s ‘catch-up’ programme, our Governing Body is looking to appoint a dynamic and adaptable Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant (dependent upon experience) to join our staff and TA team as soon as possible, who will also be able to provide flexible and targeted support to specific pupils who have fallen behind their peers, so that they can, make rapid and sustained progress. Funding is available, in the first instance, until end of Summer term 2020, but we would expect further opportunities to present themselves for a more permanent position for the right candidate by then. You would also be involved in our continuous provision as a play leader during the lunchtime period, as one of a team of highly effective teaching assistants. The successful candidate should have experience of working in this capacity, with small groups/1:1 for interventions. Part-time hours may be available.

- understand the needs of our varied community
- hold Maths and English GCSE grades 4 or above.
