Relief Cook, St David’s House

Grade 3 (SCP 5 – 9)
£19,312 - £20,903 per annum (pro rata if part time)
Hours of work are 9am – 2pm

The position of Relief Cook is based at St David’s House, Redditch. The Relief Cook will work on an as and when basis providing cover for the Cook for annual leave and absence.

The Relief Cook will lead in the preparation, cooking and the serving of a two course lunch to the tenants and visitors attending the luncheon club. Working alongside a Kitchen Assistant they will also complete general kitchen duties and cleaning.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a catering environment, have knowledge of Health and Safety practices, and have the ability to carry out lifting and carrying duties. You must also have, or train towards, Basic Food Safety Level 2 certificate (or equivalent) and be willing to undertake any other training applicable to this role
