To utilise youth work skills within a team environment and develop youth work interventions that contribute to the implementation of the Early Help Strategy

Hours:  37 per week

Salary: £29551 to £32155 per annum

You will hold a professional qualification in Youth & Community Work to degree level or equivalent.  You will prioritise young people and families in need of support and at risk of or receiving statutory intervention.

The council has a contractual 3 days mandatory unpaid leave which, for the majority of services, are fixed at the Christmas period.  This represents a pay deduction of 1.15% in return for which employees are afforded three days unpaid leave (pro-rata for part time staff).
