We are looking to appoint a committed and hardworking ‘Science Technician’.

You will need to work on your own initiative, have good organisational skills, work well under pressure and be able to support students and staff with their work. Experience of working in a school science
laboratory setting is desirable however other relevant experience will be considered. This is a temporary post until the end of the current academic year. The Science Department is well resourced with 5 fully equipped laboratories and extensive preparation space. This role will provide opportunities to develop new and existing skills in a supportive team environment.
The successful candidate will:
• Be responsible for setting out apparatus, cleaning, repairing, maintaining equipment and ensuring laboratories remain tidy.
• Be a key member of the Science faculty.
• Support teachers during Science practical lessons.
