Lunchtime Supervisor

St Joseph’s RC Primary School is a Catholic Primary School for children aged 4 to 11. We have an onsite Governor Led Nursery for 3 and 4 year olds. We currently have 212 wonderful children and a beautiful building with excellent facilities. We now need new talent to join our School for the following position - Lunchtime Supervisor

 7.50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Term Time only between 12:00 and 13:30

The Governors of St Joseph’s RC Primary School are seeking to appoint a Lunchtime Supervisor to join our current team to support and care for our children at lunchtime.

We are looking for someone to make our lunchtimes even happier! Are you able to:
• build excellent relationships with children and staff?
• encourage quality play between our pupils?
• expect and reinforce the highest standards of behaviour?

The successful candidate will need to be a good communicator with high expectations and a real empathy for children. Some experience of working with or caring for primary aged children on either a voluntary or professional basis would an advantageous. There will be an opportunity for approximately 20 minutes per day to work with children on either a one to one or group basis after lunch service to listen to readers and build working relationships within the classroom.
