Learning Support Assistant - SEND
22.5 hours per week term time
Level 2, Grade 4 (6 - 11):
£9,983.22 - £11,022.10 per annum pro rata
£9.94 - £10.97 per hour We are seeking to appoint a committed, enthusiastic and positive Learning Support Assistant to provide support to a child with special educational needs. The successful candidate will be working alongside our well-structured and supportive staff to help all our children enjoy, learn and achieve success. The ability to work as part of a team and under your own initiative is important. The successful candidate must be patient, calm and flexible in their working practices. This is a temporary contract linked to specific funding for pupils with Education, Health & Care Plans. As part of the role you will also be involved in intervention for individual or small groups of children. The successful candidates will work under the direction of the SENDCo. We offer full support and an induction programme for all new staff, and a commitment to continued professional development. The successful candidates will have to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post and will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
