This is a new role for Herefordshire Council and you will be joining us as an integral part of the management team and will play a leading role ensuring the high performance and efficiency of our Legal and Democratic Service Business units.
Key responsibilities will be both financial and case management performance, monitoring KPI’s, service level agreements and monitoring delivery outcomes, supporting business change and income generation opportunities. Managing, monitoring and negotiating contractual relationships on behalf of the units. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance for the Legal Service unit in respect of regulatory finance and administration responsibilities for the Solicitors Regulatory Authority.
This will be a leading role, where you will help to ensure that high performance standards are met for all staff on levels of professionalism and to be an ambassador internally and externally for the team as a whole. We are proud of the service we provide, however we aspire to delivering a high performing service and we are up for new ideas to help achieve this.
We are looking for a candidate with both proven management and finance skills gained at a legal or similar professional organisation, however, candidates from non-legal backgrounds will also be considered. If you have experience in management accounts and case management performance that would be desirable.

Competitive relocation payment of up to £5,000.
