Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: Grade 14
We are seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Service Manager to lead and further improve Dudley’s Centre for Professional Practice. You will also lead and implement Dudley’s Quality Assurance & Learning Framework. This is your opportunity to bring to Dudley significant expertise and implement fresh and creative new ideas for children and young people’s social care. You will have a strong focus on outcomes and evidenced based practice.
You will be the Lead for the Centre for Professional Practice and provide practice leadership and a voice for social Work across Children Services. You will champion social work, its values and the importance of the profession. Under the overall direction of the Head of Children’s Safeguarding, Practice and Quality Assurance, the role will fulfil the principle Social Worker duty to deliver both the quality assurance functions and the learning and development offer. You will play a key role in establishing a stable and high performing workforce.
It is vital that the successful candidate will possess significant experience within the children’s social care arena and be well able to provide strong leadership, operational management and strategic direction.
You will be registered or eligible to be registered, on the SWE register for qualified social workers.
