Dudley MBC is a community council rich in history and is very focused on regenerating and reinvesting itself to meet the challenges of the future, forming part of the West Midlands Combined Authority. Legal Services is accredited with Lexcel, the Law Society's standard in excellence in legal practice management and client care.

 

Hours:  22 per week

Salary: Grade 8 

Location: 4 Ednam Road, Dudley/Home Working

We require an experienced Senior Legal Executive/Assistant who will undertake work and advise Council clients in relation to civil litigation law. The successful candidate should possess excellent communication skills and be proactive and assertive with the ability to manage caseloads and draft/agree legal documentation.

The Council operates within a Flexible Working Policy, subject to the business needs of the organisation being fulfilled.

The council has a contractual 3 days mandatory unpaid leave which, for the majority of services, are fixed at the Christmas period.  This represents a pay deduction of 1.15% in return for which employees are afforded three days unpaid leave (pro-rata for part time staff).
