32.0 Hours per Week

Salary: National Minimum Wage (Pro-rata)

Post 1&2 : Secondary Post 3 : Primary Post 1, 2 & 3: Temporary contract (for the duration of the apprenticeship) starting November 2020

• for pupils with MLD, aged 4-18 years

• an outstanding school (Ofsted 2011, 2014 & 2019)

Essential:

• 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at Grade 4 or above or equivalent qualification

• An interest in training as a Learning Support Assistant and working with pupils within an SEN setting

• A commitment to undertaking NVQ Level 3 TLSA through SMBC nominated learning provider (note this is a distance learning course)

• Some previous experience of working with children in an educational setting is desirable but not essential

When you have successfully completed your Apprenticeship, you may be given the opportunity to continue in your role or progress onto an LSA role within the school where you will receive full training and support. Would you like to be part of the team? If so, please see attached to apply.
