Warwick
About us and the role:
In Warwickshire, we want all our children and young people to lead a fulfilling life and be part of their community.
Through the SEND & Inclusion Change Programme we are working together to:
- Improve outcomes for our children and young people with SEND
- Take decisions in a clear, fair and transparent way
- Ensure that systems are sustainable, so that we are working within our allocated funding
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the SEND strategy and commissioning team leading this change by working with schools, support services, parents and carers, children and young people and other stakeholders. This role focusses in particular on the commissioning of high needs places, the establishment of new resourced provisions and the strategic planning of specilaist provision.
Children and young people with SEND are our children. We want to change the conversation so that we can focus on how we can support our children and young people where they are, enable them to progress and celebrate their achievements.
