Dudley’s Bereavement Services Section is responsible for the service delivery of burial and cremation services at Gornal Wood & Stourbridge crematoria and the Borough’s eight cemeteries.

Hours:  37 per week

Salary:  Grade 5

Your main duties will include carrying out cremations in accordance with the code of cremation practise and overseeing the use of the chapel for funeral services. This will involve promoting a positive approach in delivering the service by liaising with ministers, funeral directors and members of public in a sensitive and caring manner.

You will be required to work at both Gornal Wood and Stourbridge Crematoria and also work some overtime on weekday evenings and weekends.
