External Funding Bid Writer - ref RT62020
Salary: G10 £37,516 to £42,398 per annum
Fixed Term: 31st March 2022 (possible extension)
It is an exciting time in Walsall with the next stage of our Inclusive Economic Growth Programme about to begin. We are looking for an experienced and successful bid writer to join us as soon as possible to really make a difference. If successful you will work with key partners, local people and employers to raise our game by attracting significant levels of external resources that are capable of making a real difference.
If successful you will work for the External Funding and Business Development Manager as part of our External Funding team, owning responsibility for; designing, drafting and submitting high quality bids, often in partnership, that secure the resources we need to drive forward the economic and environmental regeneration of our borough.
The role is initially offered through to the end of March 2022, with extensions dependent on the team’s success in securing additional funding.
