We are seeking to appoint a Medical Needs Leader to lead and manage the medical needs of the students at the King Edward VI Handsworth Wood Girls’ Academy. Starting as soon as possible, this is an important and essential post in promoting health and welfare support and guidance for our students and to all stakeholders. The successful post holder will be the first aid leader and would be expected to maintain accurate student medical records.
Experience of working with external agencies would be desirable, as would experience of working with young people in an educational context.
The post is term time only 10.00 – 14.30 daily (22.50 hours per week).
The successful candidate will be fully supported in their career and professional development through CPD and a commitment to supporting up to date training and development needs.
King Edward VI Handsworth Wood Girls’ Academy is an 11-18 comprehensive school in the north-west of Birmingham.
