Sycamore Adventure is an award winning Adventure Playground which aims to offer a space which invites a wide menu of play, whose staff are trained and knowledgeable in playwork and who's primary function is to promote the play process

Hours:  37 per week

Salary:  Grade 10

We are seeking an experienced Playwork Manager to continue the journey and to further develop this amazing facility ensuring that it is both accessible and sustainable as we move forwards whilst ensuring we continue as a Centre of Excellence for children's play.

A Playwork Manager who will use their knowledge of children’s play and childhood development to provide exciting play opportunities for children and young people at Sycamore Adventure and identified play work outreach events including Dudley Play Week. An advocate for children's rights and self directed children's play who also has the knowledge to ensure a site that is both challenging and safe.

We are looking for a professional with current experience and knowledge of working with children and young people and the management of a staff team. Someone who is skilled in both managing budgets and in securing additional income.  

Flexible in working patterns to accommodate regular evenings, weekends and school holidays.
