Sutton Park Primary RSA Academy is looking to appoint an After School Care Playleader to work with the After School Care Manager to help run and develop after school care provision. We have lots of parents and carers who have expressed an interest in having after school care and we are looking for the right person to help ensure it is a success. Therefore, in the first instance the contract will be on a fixed term basis until April 2nd, 2021, however this could be extended if the after school care proves to be sustainable.
The role will entail assisting the After School Care Manager with devising and running high-quality play and learning opportunities, having the use of school facilities. You will also be expected to provide a healthy and nutritious snack/light tea, administer first aid where necessary and keep records of the children attending.
As this is a new venture for the school, we need the right candidate to make sure the after school care is a success and is financially sustainable. You should therefore be committed to making sure it is a success.
Visits to the school can be accommodated. For more information about visits or an informal discussion please contact Beverley Morris, School Business Manager, on 01562 67742. Completed application forms should be emailed to sbm@suttonpark.worcs.sch.uk
Sutton Park Primary RSA Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced criminal record check via the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The post will be subject to pre-employment checks including but not limited to medical clearance, 2 references, right to live and work in the UK and Disqualification under the Childcare Act. The post is also subject to a 3-month probationary period.
