Job Details
This post is 32.5 hours, term-time (£24,982 - £29,577 per annum) pro rota + SEN allowance.
This skilled and experienced team forms part of the LA’s initiative to improve outcomes for children with social, emotional and mental health difficulties and reduce exclusions in Primary Schools. As part of Inclusion Support, the team works with the Specialist SEMH teachers and other colleagues within this multi-professional service.
Do you have at least 5 years recent experience working with children with SEMH difficulties in the Primary phase? Are you qualified to BTEC/ NVQ Level 3, equivalent or higher in a child development or education discipline? Are you looking for your next challenge?
In this role, you will be working alongside and with school staff, providing direct support to key children and modelling best practice. You will be ‘leading by example’, confident in your ability to lead, guide, demonstrate and persuade and able to engage positively with a range of people including children their parents, school staff and professionals from other agencies.
We can offer you an extensive induction programme with on- going collaborative support, CPD and smart working technology.
This role requires an enhanced DBS check.
