We are looking for an  experienced, creative and dynamic Business Support Manager to join our management team leading improvements and efficiencies in business support services for the Education and Skills Directorate and Adult Social Care Directorate

The posts will initially be for fixed 2yr period in Education and Skills, with the option to extend or make permanent.

You will lead teams within Business Support Services in achieving their objectives, ensuring effective relationships are built across key frontline and other support services. You will also take the lead in developing processes to ensure that teams are as efficient as possible. You will have strong operational management experience, be highly technically skilled in IT and have demonstrable experience of making service improvements in terms of efficiency and quality of output.

Education and Skills - This exciting role will establish a new team to effectively manage citizen complaints and will involve implementing new systems and recruiting appropriate skills into the team. We are looking for highly motivated, solution focussed and resilient managers to ensure that high quality administrative support services are provided at all times. This will be an extremely fast paced role in an ever-changing landscape which will require energy, enthusiasm and tenacity to drive the Council and your diverse support teams forward.
