Old Park is a very successful Special School for pupils between the ages of 4-19 years.

We have a dedicated staff team and our most recent Ofsted (November 2018) judged us to be an outstanding school for the third time.

All of our pupils have severe or profound learning difficulties and all have Education, Health and Care plans to ensure their needs are met. Many pupils have sensory impairments or complex medical conditions and we have a significant number of autistic pupils.

Hours: 32.5 hours per week,

Term Time only 39 weeks per year.

Location: Old Park School, Thorns Road, Brierley Hill DY5 2JY

Old Park is looking to recruit a number of suitably qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistants to join our highly successful school team.

Successful candidate(s) must have completed an NVQ Level 3 equivalent or above in childcare/child development or education.

The position is subject to a DBS Enhanced disclosure check and qualifications check.

Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

Informal visits are normally welcomed however due to the current circumstances there will be an opportunity to visit the school building on Wednesday 4th November at 4.30pm

Shortlisting:  W/c Tuesday 10th November

Interviews will take place on the 19th and 20th November
