Level 3 Teaching Assistant- ref TV27620

27.5 hrs per week, term time only

Level 3:  £12788 - £16218

Required as soon as possible

Fixed term contract until 31st August 2021

We are looking for a well-motivated and enthusiastic person to join our strong and supportive team of staff.

The successful candidate will be required to support the teaching and learning throughout the school.

They must be prepared to carry out both one to one, group work or occasionally cover classes as necessary in addition to undertaking duties which support the education and well-being of pupils.  They will be expected to maintain the high standards established in our school and use strategies in liaison with the teacher to support pupils to support pupils to achieve their full potential in their learning.  They will also be expected to prepare, maintain and use any equipment/resources required in order to deliver the planned relevant leaning activity. 

This role requires the successful candidate to be well motivated and supportive of our Catholic Ethos.  It is essential they have a good understanding of child development.  Excellent literacy and numeracy skills are required with a minimum of GCSE Grade C in English Language.

Please be advised, a short lesson observation with a small group of children will be expected as part of our interview process.
