We are looking for an inspiring, motivated and highly experienced Business and Fundraising Executive, to grow net income through relationship-based fundraising and to develop and successfully implement a bid strategy and framework to achieve sustainable income streams from a variety of sources to support our growth.  You will contribute to strategic decision making, assist in the management of organisational risk and work to effectively grow the organisation by generating sustainable funding from a variety of avenues including statutory providers, grant funding, social enterprise income generation projects, major donors and fundraising activities.

As an integral member of the executive management team you will have a genuine passion for promoting our values through the development and implementation of the charity’s fundraising, marketing and communication strategies cross the organisation. You will lead and deliver on Murray Hall’s business and fundraising streams to grow and sustain the organisation over the long term in line with our vision, values and objectives. 

You will research and develop intelligence on future funding opportunities with social value and how these can be incorporated into the organisation, keep abreast of the changing public sector and commissioning environment write high quality, clear and concise applications to prospective funders incorporating case studies and method statements where required. 

As well as marketing and actively promoting the charity’s profile across a range of audiences, including potential corporate and individual donors, businesses, members of the public, community groups/associations, service users and their families, staff, volunteers and supporters, and those who commission our services, you will lead on income generation through various fundraising streams including our website and charity shop, whilst raising awareness of the charity’s work by telling the story of the amazing people who use our services. 

You will have substantial fundraising and management experience, a talent for building relationships and a proven track record in securing funds.
