An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Sports Teacher to join our College. We are
seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic teacher who is committed to achieving excellence and ensuring every young person succeeds. Although experience of working in Special Education is not a pre-requisite for this post, you should be able to demonstrate an approach to curriculum delivery that is exciting and innovative while also being sensitive to the needs of our students. It is imperative that you have high expectations, ambition, a love of challenge and a determination to make a difference to the lives of our fantastic young people.


Newfriars College is a newly established College with over 170 students aged between 16 and 25 who have a range of Special Educational Needs. At Newfriars, we are creating a vision that places our learners and their families at the heart of everything we do. The College is committed to a multi-disciplinary approach to meeting students' needs, and promotes high quality professional development for all staff.
