We are seeking Experienced Social Workers to cover three separate periods of 12-month maternity leave post in Locality Safeguarding, 2 covering the geographical area from Malvern to Pershore, 1 the Redditch area of the County. The two posts in Malvern & Pershore will be from the beginning of December 2020 and the post will be from January 2021.The maternity cover within the Redditch area will start in February of 2021

This is an exciting opportunity to join Locality Safeguarding to become part of a cohesive and supportive team that will facilitate an opportunity to experience a breadth of work including Child in Need, Child Protection, Looked After Children, and Court work within the private/public law arena. To support the work of the Team we have access to Specialist Family Support, Supporting Families First and the newly introduced Family Safeguarding Pilot.

The successful Social Worker/s will report to Zoe Morgan, Team Manager.

In order to be considered for this post, the following criteria is essential:

• A professional qualification in social work.
• Current Social Work England registration.
• Experience of writing reports.
• Be adept at prioritising work and competing demands.
• The ability to manage crisis.
