Teaching Assistant Grade 1

Job Start date   30^th November 2020 (dependant on checks) - Fixed term until July 2021

32.50 hours per week - Term Time + 5 TED days

We require a Teaching Assistant to join the team at Riversides School, which is a school for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties. The successful candidate will work on a 1:1 basis with pupils to help them access lessons within their class. Experience of working with pupils on the Autistic Spectrum is preferred.

The purpose of the role would be to meet the holistic needs of children at Riversides under the direction of the teacher / senior staff in order to promote the inclusion and acceptance of all. This would include support for behavioural needs alongside access to learning.
