St Margaret’s at Hasbury Primary School and Nursery is a popular school is a voluntary controlled school serving the needs of children aged 4 to 11.

It is a thriving one form entry, with a long and successful history of serving generations of local families. We have a caring and inclusive ethos and we value all of our children as individuals, wanting each of them to feel that they have been nurtured and cared for while learning here. The link with St Margaret’s Church is vital to our school and we value the time that our whole school community comes together for acts of collective worship.

St Margaret’s is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced DBS check. Our pupils and staff are extremely proud of their school and would love to show you around. Visit dates: Thursday 12th November at 4pm or Tuesday 17th November at 4pm

To provide a comprehensive administrative and financial support to the School, and be accountable for ensuring that all tasks are completed promptly.  Level 5 (Grade 6) staff will work with a greater degree of autonomy and will have greater responsibility for decision making within the administration/secretarial function including the line management of a significant number of people. You will oversee all functions within the school office and will be responsible for ensuring that all visitors or colleagues are assisted in a timely manner and that office tasks are completed promptly, whether by you or a member of your team.

A key feature of the job will be to: manage the provision of all administrative / secretarial functions within school, act as a named line manager and be responsible for performance management and appraisal of other admin/ secretarial staff.
