Intelligence, Performance and Analysis Manager

Salary:  £37,890- £41,881 per annum

If you are excited by the possibilities of using data and intelligence to improve outcomes for children and families, we’d like to hear from you. We’re looking for someone who is confident at leading a team to influence services to use intelligence and data. This role will report directly into the Head of Intelligence, Quality Assurance and Engagement.

One of the main functions of the role is to support the development of a team of data analysts to develop intelligence led approaches from single or multiple sources across the Children & Families service to inform service delivery/improvement using restorative principles. This may include; leading workshops with senior leaders, team managers and practitioners to work restoratively with high challenge/high support principles, producing reports for lead members and the senior leadership teams, attending strategic and operational meetings to share findings and constructively challenge areas of potential weakness, signing off statutory returns, contributing to the inspection framework and ensuring an outward focus on best practice to inform continuous improvement.

The role will also be responsible for our statutory Childrens services data returns.

We’re currently starting to roll out self-service reporting through Power BI. The position will support the data team and the business to do this.

The position is primarily based within the Intelligence, Performance & Engagement team at 1 Staffordshire Place, Stafford.  However, we actively encourage the use of smart working, including working from home and other locations.
