borough and close to a wide range of social amenities.

Maitland Road offers a positive living experience for young people generally between

the ages of 14 - to under 18 years

We work on a medium to long term basis with young people of either gender, who are unable to live with their families because of their special or complex needs.

Hours:  37 per week

Salary:  Grade 8

We are looking to appoint a Senior Residential Child Care Worker who will contribute to all aspects of the physical and emotional care of the child(ren) so as to promote their welfare whilst working in partnership with their family and other professionals.

The post holder will take responsibility for the day to day running of the home in the absence of the Manager.  There will be an expectation that the post holder will also provide experience and expertise in working with children referred to the Unit.
