1:1 Teaching Assistant plus Midday Supervision

The Role

27.5 Hours per Week

Fixed Term Contract - Continuation of EHCP

We are currently looking to recruit a TA2 to support a child in EYFS on a 1:1 basis at Hillmorton Primary School. This is a fixed term contract of one year subject to the continuation of the EHCP. The successful applicant to work 25 hours as a TA and 2.5 hours as a MDS. These hours could be split between two people.

Key Requirements

The successful applicant will be calm, flexible and support the child to be successful at our school.

The ideal Teaching Assistant will have:

Previous experience in working with children with special needs. An understanding of Child Protection policies Patience and empathy towards pupils Good command of literacy and numeracy

This position requires working with children so is subject to a full DBS. We are committed to the safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment. The post will be offered subject to the satisfactory return of safeguarding checks and two references.
