Our school is committed to providing an excellent catering service. We are a successful school serving over 245 lunches each day. We also provide a breakfast and mid-morning break service.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative and experienced person who will assist in the continued development of this successful operation.

Candidates must be capable of developing and implementing a range of creative and innovative ideas to further our catering provision.

You will be motivated by a passion for quality coupled with the highest standards in food production, presentation and service.

You must be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of practical cooking in a large-scale environment.

Effective communication skills with an emphasis on customer care are essential, as is the ability to work and lead as part of a team.

It is expected that you will have an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Food Preparation, City & Guilds 706/1 and or 706/2, current Food Hygiene Certificate. You should have knowledge of HACCP, Health and Safety in a kitchen (including COSHH),

Food Allergies and current legislation regarding the provision of food in schools.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
