Community and Family Mentor Permanent role

Salary: Band C, Points 7 to 14 Gross Salary: £20,092 to £23,080 Actual Pro Rata Salary £7,415 to £8,518

Hours: 16 hours over 4 days per week, 8.00 am – 12.00 noon

Start Date: January 2021

We are looking for an excellent Community and Family Mentor who has a passion for working with and supporting young children and their families. The successful candidate will work across school. The position provides an opportunity to work in an outstanding school that is committed to achievement for all of our pupils.

Candidates need to hold a relevant NVQ Level 2 or above qualification and need to be:

• Committed, enthusiastic and talented with the knowledge and skills to support our families

• Excellent practitioner who has a passion for parenting and a desire to help children maximise their potential

• Able to work as part of a team • Friendly, approachable and flexible

• Organised and have great interpersonal and communication skills
